The headquarters of SMIC (Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation) in Shanghai / Pudong is delivered.
This project is the result of a collaboration between SUD China, SUD Polska and the local EDRI institute, Shanghai office.
The 67,600 sqm GBA office building is part of a larger renovation / extension project of the SMIC Technology Park in Pudong with a total area of 450,000 sqm. The concept of the office building includes the construction of a system of vertical exterior sunshades on the south facade, whose rhythm and geometry illustrate the microprocessor microstructure manufactured by SMIC.
