Background

BIOASTER is the only French institute for technological research in the health sector.

Set up in a brand new building, the project hosts interdisciplinary R & D activities, providing infectious diseases and microbiology services for public health purposes.

The facilities consist in 5 areas:

• One 125 sq m, L3 type lab area with integrated NMR equipment
• One 1,350 sq m, L2/L1 type lab area (PCR/ Metabolic/proteomic/ Cytometry…)
• One local support area, including: laundry, waste disposal, cold rooms, freezer room, gas storage …
• One Common Premises and Service area, including reception, single occupancy offices, open-space, meeting rooms, conference room and ancillary rooms.
