Background
On this project, the challenge was to construct an office building, partly occupied by the headquarters of Groupe Nox Ingénierie, providing color and modernity on the outskirts of the Nantaise landscape. The collaboration was carried out along with the Nox Ingénierie team.
Our response
To make a single volume of offices, typical request, while creating a statement on the Nantaise beltway in order to engage passersby, we used a cantilever counterbalanced on the other side by incremental construction promoting proper entrance into the pavilion environment.
Architectural Mission
We imagined a set of office spaces with an atypical floor divided by a complete wall of windows and bordered by terraces. This “opening” accommodating the executive offices and meeting rooms offers a 360° panoramic view. Its facade is covered with a gilded metal origami. This folded material, different during the day and night, is the signature of the building.
