BGI HOSPITAL SHENZHEN China

SUD Architects China, in collaboration with other entities of the ARCHING group including in particular SUD Architectes France and TEM Partners (Building engineering) as well as the Chinese Local Technical Institute CADI, is a finalist and finishes among the 10 best projects of the international competition aimed at the design of the future BGI Hospital in Shenzhen (China).

This 200,000 m² hospital, whose guideline is sustainability and ecology, will notably include nearly 20,000 m² of laboratories and will integrate the latest medical innovations, increased cross-functionality of the various disciplines, and the inclusion of technological innovation at each stage of patient journeys allowing better control of information, facilitating feedback and decision-making. These innovations will also translate from an architectural point of view with, for example, the use of natural light in the surgery rooms.

This project strengthens the position of @SUD Architectes and more generally of the companies of the @ARCHING group in the development expertise of buildings related to the health sector.
